Newly Elected IBP-Davao City Chapter Officers Take Oath at the Supreme Court

March 24, 2025 - The newly elected officers of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) - Davao City Chapter officially took their oath today at the Supreme Court, marking the beginning of their term in steering the local legal community towards progress and excellence.

The solemn ceremony not only signifies their commitment to upholding the rule of law but also underscores their dedication to serving the legal profession with integrity and leadership.


The election of the new officers took place on February 22, ushering in a new chapter for IBP-Davao City. The newly elected officers are as follows:

Atty. Ferdinand Taglucop – Chapter President

Atty. Cindy Ilagan-Cayco – Vice President

Atty. Gene Pedmon Geocaniga – Secretary

Atty. Cid Benedicto Pabalan – Treasurer

Atty. Robert Hernandez – Auditor

Atty. Raphael Jose Lizada – Public Relations Officer


The newly constituted Board of Directors is composed of distinguished legal practitioners who will lend their expertise and leadership to the organization:

Atty. Karen Bianca Angeli Cezar

Atty. Francisco Villano Jr.

Atty. Maria Aira Celina Batacan

Atty. Menachem Carpio


Among the esteemed officers, Atty. Robert Hernandez, who now serves as Auditor, is the distinguished senior partner of Hernandez & Associates, a premier law firm in Davao City. With his expertise in corporate law, real estate, and land titling, Atty. Hernandez has consistently demonstrated a commitment to legal excellence and service to the community. His election to the IBP-Davao City leadership is a testament to his dedication and the trust the legal fraternity places in him.
